BIO
Mr. Holubec was born in San Antonio, Texas. His father was a military officer which allowed Mr. Holubec to become well aware of what it is like to be a minority in a different culture. Also, Mr. Holubec has prior experience as a ranch manager, and later as a sole owner of a small business in the central Texas area. Mr. Holubec learned that foreign born individuals seemed to be the hardest working, most reliable people willing to work hard for their income. These first-hand experiences had profound effects that support Mr. Holubec's interest in representing aliens coming to live in the U.S. By having such a range of life experiences before attending law school, Mr. Holubec can appreciate the hardships of parenting having to work hard to save money, and being accepting of people of different cultures.

After raising his children, Mr. Holubec returned to college at the age of 38 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He then pursued law by attending the University of Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas. He earned his Doctorate Degree in Jurisprudence in 1999 and passed the Kansas State Bar at the age of 44. Since passing the bar, Mr. Holubec has focused in his practice on criminal, traffic and immigration law.

As an immigration attorney, Mr. Holubec is able to represent immigration clients in all 50 States and U.S. possessions and territories. Although he primarily represents clients in Kansas, he also has represented clients in California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington State, and of course Mexico.

Mr. Holubec is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association ("A.I.L.A."); a membership organization of more than 14,000 immigration lawyers. He is also active with the Kansas Lawyer's Assistance Program; helping and mentoring attorneys having ethics violations or other issues. In 2004 Mr. Holubec was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court bar association. In 2016 Mr, Holubec was presented with the American Institute of Legal Counsel's Client Satisfaction Award in the Immigration Division.

Mr. Holubec remains instrumental in helping clients having mental or physical disabilities that may affect the client's case outcome. Although most attorneys provide help to indigent clients for the first 6 to 12 months of being an attorney, Mr. Holubec has continued to do so for more than 20 years. He believes this is a way to give back to the local community that has given him so much.
